Why I decided to apply Early Decision

Dear Diana: I will never forget the moment I saw Boston University's campus for the first time. When my subway trolley (better known as the T) emerged from underground, right onto BU's East Campus, I found I couldn't stop smiling as we made our way down Commonwealth Avenue. I knew in that moment that BU was the only school I wanted to attend.
And now, as I enter my final semester and reflect on my experiences here, I realize that BU has provided me with countless opportunities to further my education and cultivate my sense of citizenship within this diverse, global world.
Applying Early Decision to BU was the best choice I made as a senior in high school. While my peers were stressed about multiple application deadlines, I filled out just one application in the fall and received my acceptance letter in December. I was able to relax, knowing that I would be attending BU--my top choice university.
If you can't see yourself anywhere else, if you keep dreaming of what you could accomplish at BU, you should consider applying Early Decision. Applying ED is the best way to let Admissions know you're serious about attending. There's no better way to demonstrate your interest.
Best wishes going forward,
Koreena Geisler-Wagner CAS'17, History and Religion
