As you prepare to consider your college options, we invite you to learn more about the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from our Volunteer family. Many colleges and universities value service and leadership in their college applicants, and UT is no exception. Therefore, we hope you to join us in an act of service, and learn about how that can contribute to your college application.

Here at UT, we are committed to leadership and service, and to bettering ourselves and our community. Our Volunteer family seeks to live out the Volunteer creed: " One that beareth the torch, shadoweth oneself to give light to others." There are numerous ways to "bear the torch," but one that we find most fulfilling is joining together with our Volunteer family in service to our community.
