Dear Diana,

Now is the perfect time to think about how to make your college education more affordable. That's why I want to tell you about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA.

Most colleges and universities require the FAFSA in order to consider students for financial assistance, and since many financial awards are given on a first-come, first-served basis, it's in your best interest to file as early as possible.

This year, you can file earlier than ever because the FAFSA will be available on October 1. Filing this early means you'll receive financial assistance packages from schools months earlier than you would have in years past! That gives you more time to look into options and choose the college for you.

Perhaps the college for you is Nova Southeastern University. We're committed to making our unique and innovative education obtainable for all students, which is why we offer scholarships ranging from $3,000 to full tuition! Our scholarships are based on a variety of factors, including academic achievement, athletic or artistic talent, leadership qualities, major choice, and many other things that are special about each individual student. You can learn more about our wide range of scholarships here.

Have a great summer, Diana. I look forward to seeing you apply to NSU in the fall!

Sincerely,

Deanna L. Voss
