I keep telling my subscribers that the world is crazy, and that you might want to make connections with sane people, because in a world in which the institutions are corrupt and the authorities despise you, there's probably a benefit to being connected with smart people who don't hate your guts.

I've been repeating that message for four and a half years now.

The medical system is institutionalized quackery, the universities are enemies of civilization, and the legal system will screw you ten times over if given half the chance, and that's just for starters. So I said: what if I build a community of smart, normal people, and we figure out not just how to survive this world, but even to thrive and flourish in it?

Hence my School of Life, which I opened in February 2022.

I just had a guy write to say that his family had wanted to have another child but were concerned about their finances. His School of Life accountability group prepped him for a better job, which he got, and that baby was born a few months ago.

Sure beats writing angry letters to the editor, doesn't it?

Well, speaking of our crazy world, you may have heard about a Somali man, Sharmake Omar, who filmed a white mother named Shiloh Hendrix on a Minnesota playground in April 2025. After a Somali kid had tried to steal from Miss Hendrix, Omar berated her on camera for allegedly having used a racial slur. He repeatedly urged her to say the word on camera, which she proceeded to do (as he himself did likewise, five times).

Today Miss Hendrix was convicted by a white jury of "disorderly conduct" for having uttered the slur -- not for uttering it at the child, but for saying it to the cameraman after he taunted her about it and followed her around filming her in public. For saying a word that because of her race she is not allowed to say, she was ordered to pay a $1000 fine and perform 200 hours of community service.

Now what else do we know about Sharmake Omar, the cameraman? Well, we know that in January 2022 he and another Somali man were accused of having spent two days in a trailer raping an underage girl who had run away from foster care. Three years later, all charges were dismissed "in the interest of justice," with no further elaboration.

Maybe Omar was completely innocent of that charge. It's not metaphysically impossible. But two years before that, he and another Somali buddy caused some trouble that nobody disputes: Omar threw a rock at a car and then attacked the driver, who was 16 years old. His buddy pulled a knife on a 21-year-old Samaritan who tried to help.

Guess what the charge for that crime was. Guess.

Disorderly conduct.

Sentence: $200 fine.

He threw a rock at a car and attacked the driver. He is charged with the same crime as a nonviolent white woman uttering a word, and receives a lighter sentence.

Understand, Shiloh Hendrix was convicted by a jury of her "peers." Her peers thought she should actually be convicted in a court of law for saying a no-no word to a creep.

There's your world.

Maybe that idea about linking up with sane people was a good one after all.
