Dear Diana,

We have decided to extend Queens University’s early application deadline to midnight on December 11, 2016. This season, the state of North Carolina and many others have faced multiple tragedies including a hurricane, severe flooding and forest fires. These tragic events have disrupted school calendars and other events. In recognition of these challenges for many of our applicants, we have decided to move our early action deadline to midnight on December 11.

If you are interested in Queens, I urge you to apply by this date. By doing so, we guarantee you an admissions decision before the end of the calendar year. You will also be eligible to apply for the most merit-scholarships, including the Royal Scholarship Program. The Royal Scholarship Program deadline is also extended to December 11.

As a reminder, our free application includes your transcripts, ACT or SAT scores, an essay and optional teacher recommendations. This year, you can send us your test scores easily by logging onto your College Board or ACT account, downloading the official PDF and emailing it to admissions@queens.edu. You can start or return to your app in progress at admissions.queens.edu/apply/.

We hope you take these extra days to finish your application.

Sincerely,

Jasmyn Lindsay
