The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, is committing more scholarship dollars than ever before to reward your hard work, Diana! We want the very best and brightest students to join our Volunteer Family, and we are ready to invest in your future with our Volunteer Scholarship Program.

VOLUNTEER SCHOLARSHIP
Our Volunteer Scholarship program recognizes students with an exemplary academic record based on a combination of GPA and test scores.

Requirements
Incoming first-year students with a minimum 3.8 GPA (UT weighted core GPA) who apply for admission by December 15 for the fall 2017 semester are eligible. New test scores to determine eligibility for the Volunteer Scholarship are accepted through December of your senior year. You must matriculate for fall semester immediately following your graduation from high school.

In order to keep the Volunteer Scholarship, students are required to maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA and federal Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) and maintain full-time enrollment throughout each semester.

ADMISSION DEADLINES
Mark your calendar with these important UT admission deadlines.

November 1: Priority Admission Deadline
Apply by this date for priority admission and to be eligible to apply for competitive scholarships and honors programs, such as the Chancellor's Honors Program. Once admitted, students must also complete a separate scholarship and/or honors application.

December 15: Regular Admission Deadline
Apply by this date for admission and to be considered for institutional scholarships, including the Volunteer Scholarship.
