We invite you to apply for admission to UNC Charlotte! Our first application deadline is November 1st. If you complete your application by November 1st, you are guaranteed an admission decision by January 30th. Please note that this is a non-binding decision.


APPLICATION COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS  

If you wish to meet our first completion deadline, you must have the following items submitted by November 1st (if you haven't already):

1. Online application in your Future 49er Portal. 

  • As a reminder, your login information is below:

2. $60 application fee payment. Or, if applicable, submit your fee waiver.

3. Official high school transcript.

  • Ask your guidance counselor to send transcripts directly to us, or you can hand deliver to the Admissions office in a sealed envelope.
  • Letters of recommendation are not required for admission to UNC Charlotte.

4. SAT and/or ACT test scores

Please submit test scores and transcripts at least 2 weeks before the November 1st deadline to ensure they arrive on time. Be sure to address all mailings to the attention of Office of Undergraduate Admissions and send to this address.

SUBMITTING TEST SCORES

  • At least one test score MUST be submitted before November 1st to meet the deadline (perhaps one that you took in your junior year). You will still be considered as meeting the November 1st deadline even if you submit new scores after November 1st.

  • Scores from the October 1st SAT will arrive in our office by November 1st if you selected UNC Charlotte as a recipient. If you plan to take the SAT or ACT test again in the near future, you may submit new scores for review after the November 1st deadline.

  • We will automatically re-review your application upon receipt of the new test scores. Your highest score will be used for the application review.

NOTIFICATION TIMELINE

  • Once you have submitted your application, paid your application fee, and submitted your high school transcript and test scores, your application is considered complete.

  • If your application is complete by November 1, we will inform you in writing of your admission decision no later than January 30, 2017.

CHECKING DECISION STATUS

  • You may check the status of your application and confirm that your documents/test scores have been received by logging in to your Future 49er Portal.

  • The Future 49er Portal is updated in real time. Please allow 7-10 days for documents received to be processed and noted on your account.
