Hi Diana, Are you researching your college options for majoring in a chemistry field in college? We asked our students in the Drake chemistry department what they liked about studying at Drake. Here is what they said: - "I didn't realize how important small class sizes and a liberal arts curriculum were for me until I came to Drake."
- "The chemistry program here is great because there are awesome professors and the small class sizes really help you learn the material you need."
- "I like the availability of research positions and that professors are open to letting underclassmen work with them in their labs. Also, there are lots of opportunities for cross-disciplinary work."
- "I feel that the Chemistry Department knows and cares about their students."
- "Professors are easily accessible for one-on-one discussions, manageable course load with room to take classes of other interests."
See for yourself, what our Drake chemistry students already know. - Visit: Individual visits are available Monday-Friday. You can request a faculty appointment with a chemistry professor in addition to your campus tour! Or, come visit for the upcoming STEM@Drake program on November 5.
- Apply: The application is free on the Common Application or Drake website. Choose from either a Standard or Test Flexible admission pathway. If admitted, you will be automatically considered for a Presidential Scholarship.
We'd love for you to join the Drake Chemistry department! Sincerely, Drake University Office of Admission 515-271-3181 admission@drake.edu |
