The next generation of world changers will require an exceptional education and top-tier leadership training. Through Rice University's Doerr Institute for New Leaders, students participate in the most comprehensive leader development program of any top-20 university. 

This carefully designed, evidence-based and personalized program allows students the chance to build their leadership over the course of four years. In their second year, students have the opportunity to work with a professional coach to identify their strengths and define developmental opportunities and goals.

The Doerr Institute recently announced a new external advisory board including world-renowned leadership scholar and author Jim Collins, former Vice President Al Gore, General Colin L. Powell, USA (Ret) and founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum Professor Klaus Schwab. Members of this still-expanding board will serve as advisers to the Instute on matters related to leader development at Rice, along with assisting to broaden the Doerr Institute's reach, collaboration and impact worldwide.
