Dear Diana:

You're motivated, dedicated, and ambitious--you're just the kind of student who would take advantage of the many opportunities to excel here at Boston University. What opportunities, you ask? Here are a few:

Kilachand Honors College
As a Kilachand Honors College student, you will supplement the coursework in your major with innovative multidisciplinary study; connect with a community of scientific, business, and cultural leaders; and complete a keystone project in your senior year.

Dual Degree Program

For some students with your drive and ambition, earning one bachelor's degree in four years simply isn't enough. The Dual Degree Program makes it possible to earn two bachelor's degrees from two undergraduate schools or colleges simultaneously.

Accelerated Medical Program
BU offers high-achieving applicants a faster route to a career in medicine. If admitted into the Seven-Year Liberal Arts/Medical Education Program, you can complete both a bachelor's degree and a medical degree in seven years instead of the usual eight.

Combined BA/MA Programs
If you are already looking ahead toward a professional career or post-baccalaureate education, you may wish to consider combined bachelor's degree-master's degree programs to eliminate duplication of courses and, in some cases, reduce the time required to earn the two degrees.

Best wishes,
