It may surprise you that in the 2016-2017 application cycle, 50% of medical school matriculants received only three or fewer interviews. This is why you must take advantage of every interview opportunity. For residency, the number of interviews you must go on to match successfully varies tremendously. Obviously, the more residency interviews you receive, the more likely you are to match. But, it takes only one residency interview to match!

For the last ten years, my team and I have been working tirelessly to make sure our applicants are positioned to earn the most interviews possible. While so much of this strategy takes place before submitting the application, there are things applicants can do to earn more interviews during interview season.
