A family contacted me over the weekend after their daughter had been rejected from medical school the last cycle despite having several medical school interviews. There was a lot of emotion and anxiety on the call. Speaking with the student about her interview experiences and systematically reviewing her application allowed us to identify several things she could improve and change. We then structured a plan that would increase her chances for success in the upcoming medical school admissions cycle. After the call, the student felt empowered and relieved and had specific things to work on.
