Dear Diana:
Why was Boston University the perfect school for Elliott Weinstein (CAS'16, SPH'17)? Research opportunities.
Elliott studied the effectiveness of art therapy for older adults in nursing homes for his Kilachand Honors College thesis and completed a research internship at the Cancer Center at Massachusetts General Hospital. He's now pursuing his master's degree at the BU School of Public Health and hopes to continue his research on mental health in older adults.
At BU, research isn't just about labs and microscopes. Research takes place in every academic discipline, forming a rich ecosystem of ideas. Whether it's developing your own product through a cross-functional business plan in the Questrom School of Business or scripting an original theatre production at the College of Fine Arts, research can take many forms.
Want to follow in Elliott's footsteps and develop your own research ideas, work with professors, and accelerate your studies? BU has hundreds of research projects for you to leave your mark on.
Donât wait! Sign up now with your personal webcode GLA129129222018 to receive more information about the research opportunities at BU.
Best wishes,
John C. McEachern Director of Admissions
