| Diana, An admission interview is a great way to showcase your personality, bring your admission application to life, and demonstrate your interest in Rice. For applicants who are not able to arrange an interview as part of a visit to campus, we offer off-campus interviews with Rice alumni representatives. Interviews, whether on campus or in your local area, allow us to get to know you better and give you the opportunity to ask questions about academic programs, student life and the value of a Rice degree after graduation. In order to request an off-campus interview in your area, you must first submit your admission application, by the dates listed below. Please note that the Regular Decision deadline is earlier than the usual application deadline to give us time to match you with an alumni interviewer. Once your application has been received and processed, your Rice Admission Student Portal will be activated. You will then be able to access the interview request form through your portal Early Decision applicants - Submit application for admission by November 1
- Request an interview by November 3
Regular Decision applicants - Submit application for admission by December 11
- Request an interview by December 13
I am delighted that Rice is among the colleges you're considering, and I hope you take advantage of the opportunity to interview with an alumni representative in your area. Sincerely,
Julie M. Browning Dean for Undergraduate Enrollment | | |
