It's almost FAFSA time! Tomorrow is the big day! Beginning tomorrow, October 1, you can finally file your Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA. The FAFSA helps determine if students are eligible for federal loans, grants, and work-study programs. Why file the FAFSA ASAP? Financial aid is often first-come, first-served, so set your alarm and file the FAFSA tomorrow!

Use Earlier Income Information. On the 2017â"18 FAFSA, students (and parents, as appropriate) will report their 2015 income information, rather than their 2016 income information.
