SAIC Spring 2019 Final Application Deadline

Dear Diana,
The School of the Art Institute of Chicago's (SAIC) final application deadline for the Spring 2019 semester is Tuesday, January 1, 2019. We'd like to notify you that  merit scholarships are still available, and to ensure you are considered, please make sure all materials listed below are submitted by our deadline.
Be sure to also submit your electronic portfolio, as well as request that your transcripts and test scores be sent to our office either by mail, fax or electronically by the deadline.
Merit Scholarship Information
Merit scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional levels of thoughtfulness, skill, conceptual capabilities, and academic groundedness. Scholarships are financial awards that do not need to be repaid.
Application Requirements

  • ePortfolio - SlideRoom submission needed for merit scholarship review
  • Artist's Statement
  • One letter of recommendation
  • Official high school transcripts
  • Official college transcripts - If applicable
  • Standardized test scores

Applying to SAIC

We encourage you to submit your application materials (transcript(s), test scores, letter of recommendation) as well as upload your portfolio by January 1, 2019 to be considered for merit scholarship.
