Dear Diana,

Christopher Newport University's final application deadline is fast approaching, and I want to make sure you have all the information you need to apply for Regular Decision by the February 1 deadline.
Your application will be considered complete and ready for review once you:
                        - Complete your Common Application and submit by the appropriate deadline along with the $65 non-refundable application fee (if seeking a fee waiver submit an official College Board, ACT or NACAC Fee Waiver Request signed by high school counselor who can attest to a financial hardship).
- Submit your most recent official high school transcript electronically through the Common Application website.
- Have your SAT and/or ACT scores sent directly to CNU (unless you qualify to apply test-optional). CNU's SAT code is 5128; our ACT code is 4345.
Along with completing your application we also recommend that you:
                        - Submit teacher evaluations in a core subject (English, social studies, foreign language, mathematics or science).
- Schedule an interview with a member of the admission staff.
- Schedule a visit to campus.
- Have your guidance counselor submit a School Report Form electronically through the Common Application website.
- If you plan to apply for financial aid or scholarship, complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form by our March 1 priority filing deadline.
Diana, applying to college can be a confusing process, and I'm here to help as much as possible. Please feel free to email or call if you have any questions. I look forward to hearing from you and reviewing your application!

          Warm regards,

           Sasha Kirik
