Find your direction at Kenyon.

Weather vane

Dear Diana,

Kenyon's Professor of Religious Studies Royal Rhodes often begins his talks to prospective students with a quote by poet Mary Oliver: "Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?"

To answer that, you need to experience what the world is made of — anthropology and economics, biometrics and poetics, physics and philosophy. The liberal arts expose you to the full breadth of human knowledge so that you can choose your direction wisely.

Here are four reasons why Kenyon is an ideal place to begin your journey:

  1. The Career Development Office (CDO) is integrated into the work of our academic division so that finding a job becomes an extension of your classroom studies.
  2. Network with 8,000 alumni and parent volunteers who can connect you with internships and job shadows and advise you on applying to graduate, medical and law schools.
  3. A Summer Internship Stipend provides funding for Kenyon students to complete unpaid internships and pursue opportunities in non-profit sectors.
  4. Interview for jobs right on campus with national companies and organizations or at Selective Liberal Arts Consortium events around the country.

Read more about where Kenyon can take you. The deadline to apply is Jan. 15.

Sincerely,

Joe Klesner
