Over the course of this fall I have shared many reasons for you to consider Rice. I hope you find the vast opportunities compelling and that you will choose to apply. My staff and I look forward to getting to know you better through your application.

The Regular Decision deadline is January 1st. If you have not done so already, I urge you to have official test scores and transcripts sent and make sure to request letters of recommendation from a counselor and teacher well before December 18th. Once you have submitted your application, you will be able to track the progress of these documents online through your student portal. The sooner you apply, the sooner you will be able to track receipt of required documents.

Finally, please keep in mind that the Rice Admission Office will close at noon on December 23rd and will not reopen until January 3rd. We will not be able to answer questions or provide technical support during that time, so we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible.

Take your next steps toward a meaningful and memorable college experience. Now is the time to apply to Rice.
