Diana, did you know that you can apply to American University without submitting standardized test scores?

At AU, we know that there are many ways to measure academic strength and that standardized testing isn't always the best representation of an applicant's academic record. To that end we offer test optional admissions, which allows students to apply to AU without submitting the SAT or ACT as part of their application.
