Florida Atlantic University has made important changes in how we process high school transcripts. The University has adopted the Self-Reported Student Academic Record (SSAR). This new method allows you to enter all courses and associated grades that have been attempted, or will be attempted, for high school and/or college credit without requiring the submission of an official transcript to the university (official transcripts will be required after high school graduation only).

Effective immediately, the process to apply for admission to FAU consists of:

1. Completing the admissions application online at https://apply.fau.edu and pay the $30 application fee.

2. CREATE Self-reported Student Academic Record (SSAR) at www.selfreportedtranscript.com/ssar/Login.aspx. We ask that students fill out their SSAR while looking at their transcript to ensure accurate reporting.

3. SEND SAT/ACT official test scores to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions (SAT code: 5229 | ACT code: 0729)

We encourage you to complete the SSAR instead of sending transcripts to our Office. Using the SSAR will eliminate delays in delivery and processing times for application review.

At this point, there are two options to complete the process. You can submit an FAU application before sending your SSAR. After completing the admissions application you will be automatically redirected to the SSAR website and your application information will be linked. If you already applied, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with an application confirmation number and an option to link your SSAR to FAU.

If you already created a SSAR, you can select the button to link the SSAR from the “View Confirmation Page” and then select “Link Self-Reported Academic Record.”
