Now that fall is upon us, there is no better time to schedule a visit to Rice University. Information sessions and tours are offered twice daily, Monday through Friday, and are available most Saturday mornings. In addition, other activities to enhance your visit include:

  • Academic Information Sessions - Faculty from each undergraduate school of study will share information about that particular academic program, study abroad, research, internships and fellowships, and much more. (Not available for the Shepherd School of Music.)
  • Spend a night on campus - Immerse yourself in the highly acclaimed Rice residential college system, check out the facilities, eat the food, find out how easy it is to make new friends.
  • Interview on campus - Meet one-on-one with a Rice representative and discover all the ways that Rice can meet your goals; and advance our understanding of your strengths as a candidate for admission.
  • Lunch with a student - During the academic year, prospective students are hosted by a current student for lunch in one of our residential colleges. Lunch hosts meet prospective students at 12 noon in the Admission Office and escort them to one of our serveries.
  • Attend a class - Meet our faculty and students and experience Rice’s dynamic academic opportunities by visiting classes throughout the academic year.
