At Christopher Newport University we value the interaction we have with our prospective students. Now through March 15, 2017 we offer admission interviews for high school seniors. While meeting one-on-one with an admission officer, you have the opportunity to tell us your story and learn more about the expectations and opportunities here. We want to get to know you as a person, beyond the transcript and test scores you will be providing us. We want to hear about what and who inspires you, challenges you have overcome, and all that makes you a unique individual! 

Interviews are strongly recommended for all students who plan to apply for admission to Christopher Newport and required for all scholarship applicants.  Priority consideration for scholarships will be given to applicants who apply and complete their interview by December 15, 2016.

While you contemplate essay topics during the application process, register for an admission interview at CNU. Remember to visit your own personalized Captain's Bridge, an online tool to track your application materials, receive important messages about admission events, and learn more about academic and co-curricular interests available to you at Christopher Newport. For a limited time, our Captain's Bridge members will gain access to valuable interview tips and sample questions to prepare you for a successful campus visit.
