You can conduct life-changing research at Brandeis
Friday, August 5, 2016
Dear Diana,
Benjy Hecthman '16 exemplifies what it means to be Brandeisian. The President of the Gymnastics Club and a leader of our student tour guides, he was also a double major in Physics and Math, with a minor in Business. What is perhaps most impressive about his tenure at Brandeis is his commitment to and success in research.
Benjy was given the opportunity to conduct research in our particle physics lab, where he learned to design circuit boards from start to finish. Unlike many of his peers at other institutions, Benjy was doing hands-on work that would later lead to him accepting a full-time position at the CERN installing his designs into the Large Hadron Collider, which happens to be the world's largest and most powerful particle accelerator on earth.
Watch Benjy discuss his incredible experience with research at Brandeis. While his experience is unique, it is not uncommon on our campus. Experience Brandeis.
Sincerely,
The Brandeis Admissions Team
