Dear Diana,

Want to get a jump on your Rutgers application this summer? Here are a few tips:
  • Start Composing Your Essay: Check out the new essay topics for 2017.

  • Self-Report Your Courses and Grades: Create a SRAR account to begin entering your courses and grades. (We use this online form instead of your high school transcript to review your high school record. You will be required to send us an official transcript only after your senior year is completed.) You will not be able to submit the SRAR until after you have submitted your admissions application. Don't forget to list your senior year courses as "in progress."

  • Send All of Your Test Scores to Us: We require SAT or ACT results. For the SAT, we will accept results from either the "old" or redesigned version. The SAT essay and ACT writing components are strongly recommended, though not required. Test scores must be submitted directly from the testing agency. More.

  • Check Out Our Admissions Profile: View test scores and GPAs of regularly admitted students.
Our 2017 application for undergraduate admission will be available in early September. Our first-year student application due dates are November 1 (early action) and December 1 (regular action) for fall 2017.

We look forward to receiving your application!

Sincerely,
Deborah H. Epting
