| Dear Diana, Hello from American University! We're back with another email with opportunities to visit American University along with things to do in DC while you're here. On campus, we are offering a Preview Day for prospective students and families on Friday, August 5th. Preview Days are our premier open house events and offer you the chance to tour campus, learn about the admissions process, attend an academic showcase, and learn about student life. Throughout the summer, we'll also be offering information sessions and tours. These are a great way to get a feel for campus and learn more about the admissions process.
If you come to visit us, we also encourage you to check out some of the other great cultural things going on in D.C. in August:
Attend the Annual Friendship Firehouse Festival in Alexandria, VA
Enjoy Jazz in the Garden at the National Gallery of Art
Catch a Washington Nationals Baseball Game at the Navy Yard
See the new Phantom of the Opera at The Kennedy Center
