Rice research productivity among the top universities in the world

| | Diana, Once again, Rice University has placed in the top 10 universities in the world by The CWTS Leiden Rankings, a world-wide ranking based exclusively on bibliometric indicators taking into account differences in language, discipline, and size.
Rice is recognized for the impact of its natural sciences and engineering research. The rankings depend on the proportion of a university's presence in "top 10 percent" publications and on the school's involvement in scientific collaboration.
At Rice, students work with faculty members who are setting the standard for STEM research on an international level. With our 6-to-1 student to faculty ratio, we offer access that is rare among comprehensive research universities.
