Opportunities to Meet Us Lakeside This Summer

  Hi Diana!As tour guides for the Office of Admissions, we enjoy getting to know prospective students and helping them with the college search process. We were in your shoes just a few short years ago and we know how the process can be both exciting and slightly terrifying all at once. The best advice we can give is to start visiting colleges early and often. No amount of information can replace the feeling that comes with stepping foot on a campus that you truly identify with. We hope you will include Hobart and William Smith Colleges in your plans as you schedule your college visits this spring and summer. We have a variety of offerings as outlined below and you can easily register yourself online. HWS Preview Visits Preview Visits are great for introducing you to what the Colleges have to offer through interactions with current students and HWS Admissions Counselors. Preview Visits are about 2 hours in length, and are offered Monday through Friday at 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., and on most Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. Each Preview Visit includes an Information Session led by a member of the Admissions staff. This is immediately followed by a student-guided tour of campus. Admissions interviews are also available upon request. 2016 Summer Open Houses Summer Open Houses will be offered on Saturdays, July 23, August 6 and August 20 and will run from approximately 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Prospective students and families will hear from panels of students and faculty, go on a campus tour, and learn more about Hobart and William Smith.
