You'll live in a house, not a dorm.

Diana,

There aren't any dormitories at Smith. You'll live in a house that becomes a central part of your Smith experience. Members of all four classes live together in each of Smith's 35 houses and you'll have anywhere from 12 to 100 housemates. As one senior put it, "Housing is so important at Smith. There are great traditions, like Friday afternoon tea; but what's best is feeling that you are coming home at night. I always find friends in the living room, either hanging out or doing homework. And, if I fall asleep on the couch, I know someone will wake me up for dinner."
