Dear Diana:
The major you choose in college will form the foundation of your academic career. But the passions you pursue outside of the classroom can be just as important as the learning you do inside the classroom. At Boston University, you can:
- Gain work experience by taking on an internship or part-time job
- Conduct research under the guidance of a faculty mentor
- Explore another culture by studying in one of more than 30 cities on six continents
- Volunteer in Boston, across the country, and around the world through the Community Service Center
- Join a pre-professional association on campus to further your career goals (We've got the Pre-Medical Society, Mock Trial, Society of Professional Journalists, and Society of Women Engineers, to name a few.)
Together, these elements form what our Center for Career Development has coined, "the Mosaic"--an interwoven tapestry consisting of all of your experiences at BU. When you leave BU with your degree in hand, you'll also leave with new interests and valuable skills that will prepare you for a successful future.
Interested in discovering the experiences that could form your personal mosaic? Explore your options and sign up now with your webcode GLA129129222018CAS07 to receive more information about BU.
Best wishes,
John C. McEachern Director of Admissions
