Brandeisians making a difference, following Justice Brandeis' footsteps
Thursday, January 28, 2016
Dear Diana,
The theme of the winter edition of the Brandeis Magazine is the legacy of Justice Brandeis, the namesake of our university. Brandeis students and alumni are fascinated by the man who inspired our university, and the current issue includes stories of how they are encouraged by his ideals to make a difference.
Here's a preview of what you can find inside:
- Why a Brandeis physics professor is spearheading a partnership with Hampton University to develop greater scientists
- Why current senior Madeline Engeler '16 devoted her summer to researching concussions
- Philippa Strum's '59 cover story about Justice Brandeis' ideals and legacy
- How Roee Gilron '09 created the podcast, "Israel Story"
...and much more.
We hope you enjoy reading about just a few of the extraordinary people that are a part of the Brandeis community and will continue to make lasting impacts. We encourage you to come visit us on campus to see this incredible place for yourself and learn how you can have exciting opportunities of your own.
Sincerely,
The Brandeis Admissions Team
