| | | | | | LITE (Lives Improve Through Engineering) is a two-week residential program to introduce 11th grade girls to what engineers do and how they significantly improve people’s lives by applying math, science and technology to human problems. LITE is a two-week residential program for girls who will complete 11th grade by July 1, 2017. Residential Program July 16 - July 28 Registration deadline: May 9 You can apply at no cost! Learn how engineers and scientists improve lives by using math, science and technology. Program Highlights: - Work with crash dummies to improve airbags and child car seats to prevent injuries.
- Create replacement parts to repair joints, limbs, and organs.
- Explore environmental challenges in engineering.
- Solve crimes by combining science and technology.
