An email apology haiku, for Diana.
Wednesday, February 15, 2017
Hi Diana,
This is Maryann, and I am writing to apologize for the technical glitch that resulted in you receiving multiple emails from us. An enormous effort goes into making sure that the information we send you is relevant, timely, and void of redundancy. However, even after painstakingly checking every aspect before hitting send, there are some things that just fall out of our control, and we apologize for flooding your inbox.
Though the amount of times you received this email matches the level of excitement we have for the event, we hope you will still consider attending, as it is a great opportunity to see our state of the art facilities, meet with our admissions staff, and have your portfolio reviewed.
To express my gratitude for your understanding, I will leave you with this haiku:
We do not like spam
unless it comes in a can.
We apologize.
Enjoy the rest of your day!
Maryann Schaefer,
