What You Need to Know for Test Day
Your SAT® is this Saturday. Make sure you're ready:
You must bring your Admission Ticket on test day. Log in to My SAT and click Print Admission Ticket.
Confirm the location of your test center by checking your Admission Ticket. Look up the latest test center closings to make sure that your center is open and remember to bring a valid photo ID.
No. 2 pencils aren't the only things you'll need. You now have the option to take the SAT with or without essay and make changes online up until the registration deadline. You can change your decision on test day, at the discretion of the test center supervisor, if there are available test materials, rooms, and staff.
You are allowed to use a calculator for only a certain portion of the Math Test.
Arrange your ride home ahead of time. As a guideline, the SAT with Essay will end at approximately 12:50 p.m.; if you're taking the SAT without essay, testing will end at approximately noon.
If you're taking SAT Subject Tests™, expect to wrap up around 9:45 a.m., 11:15 a.m., or 12:30 p.m., depending on whether you're taking one, two, or three tests.
Learn more about taking the SAT, noting there are additional policies and requirements for some countries. Be sure to check if your country has any unique requirements.
Be proud of your hard work and the big step you're about to take. We'll see you on test day.
